White crystalline powder or colorless transparent crystals, odorless, slightly astringent in taste, stable in air. It decomposes to produce oxygen and iodine when heated above 560℃, and has strong oxidizing properties. It is non-hygroscopic, not easy to agglomerate, with high purity and low impurity content, meeting the standards of export industrial, food or reagent grade.
