1. Chemical synthesis: Used as a dehydrating agent and catalyst in aromatic alkylation, isomerization, and condensation reactions, such as the synthesis of dyes, pharmaceutical intermediates, and pesticide technical materials (e.g., herbicides, fungicides);
2. Petrochemical industry: Used in crude oil refining to remove impurities, improve oil quality, and as an oilfield water treatment agent;
3. Food industry: Used as a food additive (e.g., food-grade polyphosphoric acid, used as an acidity regulator and chelating agent in meat products and beverage processing);
4. Other fields: Used in water treatment (scale removal, scale inhibition), metal surface treatment (derusting, phosphating), and the production of phosphates, flame retardants and other products.
