Butyl acrylate is a colorless and transparent liquid with a special fruity odor. It is classified as a Class 3 flammable liquid hazardous material. Its molecular structure contains unsaturated double bonds and is prone to self-polymerization, so polymerization inhibitors are added in commercial products. It may undergo polymerization when exposed to light, heat or oxidants, and it is irritating and moderately toxic.

1. Coating Industry：Used for manufacturing acrylate emulsions, solvent-based coatings, exterior wall coatings and industrial baking enamels, providing low-temperature flexibility, weather resistance and water resistance.

2. Adhesives：Applied in the production of pressure-sensitive adhesives, adhesives for paper, plastic and fabric.

3. Plastics & Rubber：Copolymerized with methyl methacrylate, styrene, acrylonitrile, etc., to prepare soft plastics, modified rubber, textile sizing agents and paper reinforcing agents.

4. Polymer Monomer：Serves as an intermediate in organic synthesis, emulsifier and modifier to improve the flexibility and film-forming property of polymers.
